’ve used a few different LOTOS plasma cutters and welders over time, and they’ve all been reliable. This one follows that same pattern.Setup is straightforward.... once you dial it in, it’s pretty much set it and forget it. It cuts clean and has no problem handling thicker material. I’ve had it cut right around 1" as advertised, i dont have anything thicker or i would have tried it on that. As long as your air compressor can keep up with the demand it will cut.The only thing I’d change is the grounding clamp. It works, but it feels a bit lighter than I’d prefer. That said, it’s an easy upgrade if you want something more heavy-duty.For smaller jobs, this is more machine than you need.... but having the extra capacity is nice when you run into thicker material.Overall, I’m happy with it. It performs well, has plenty of power, and feels like a good value for the price. Should be just as durable as all the others i have gotten.

This thing is so cool.I've always been a power tool girl, but this is a new step for me. We're turning a school bus into an RV, and doing quite a bit of metal work.This makes cutting metal so much less of a chore. And this one can do some wildly thick metal.You do need a 220 outlet, and it does not come with a mask, so you'll need to buy that.

It cuts very good! Has a nice ,long ,arc with plenty of power to cut 1/2" plate easily..I used it on 15" I beam and it cut easily even in the owners which are usually difficult I woul recommend it to anyone..also.the consumables are affordable as well and last quite a long time
