I had a Red LTPDC2000 multi process with the plasma that I used heavily for about 4 years. I had no complaints and I actually sold it to a friend who has been using it for about a year. I bought the LTP5500DCNC to use with a plasma table with THC and it cuts better/cleaner than the one I got rid of. There is a wiring diagram in the book, I have locking L14-50R 50amp locking receptacles in my home hobby shop so I just took the end that came on the cable off and added a locking L14-50P plug. Cost me about the same as the adapter and it plugs into a 6ga extension cord I use with my smaller welders to move them around or use them outside.
I’ve been using the LTP5500 CNC cutter on my Langmuir Pro table for about a year and a half without any problems. I’m using a machine torch and consumables from Plasmadyn so I don’t know about the Lotos torch and consumables. It was easy to hook up to the Langmuir electronics. Don’t listen to Langmuir saying that the 5500cnc
won’t work,it works great.
I was disappointed that the plug was neither the standard 120 volt or the welding 240 volt. I had to buy an adapter separately which the website description did not prepare me for.
