My first experience - so - so.

So far the unit works as advertised. Out of the box however, it was not able to be plugged into a power outlet as the plug was a NEMA 10-50P and the adapter supplied required a NEMA 6-50. I called the support line which was very quick to answer and offer a solution. They requested I text my address and it sounded as if they were going to send an adapter or plug. Haven’t seen that yet.

Found my own plug and installed it and with a good test drive the unit worked well. Figured out the Aire pressure settings and the unit worked well. Documentation could use a significant enhancement but I was able to get it functioning well.

I test drove the unit on 110 and 220V. My first experience with a Plasma unit and it did what I needed.

Works Great

I had a red one for several years. In storage for a year and would not arc. Contacted Support with my issue, not really expecting too much help on a 6-7 year old machine. They promptly responded. We tried about a week to remedy the problem. They were even going to send me a free air solenoid but we found other issues. Determined it must be a circuit board, which is no longer available. They made it easy for me to order another one (Brown). It arrived promptly. Hooked it up and it works perfectly. I am a hobbyist and it suits my needs, 3/8" and smaller although I did cut some 1/2" to see and it worked, just not as smooth. I was very impressed with the customer service and would deal with them again.

For the money this is a really good machine! Cuts nice, very easy to operate once you figure it out! The directions are very vague and incomplete.. we almost packed it up and sent it back because it wouldn't cut 3/8 steel BUT fortunately we found a youtube video that explained. The instructions just say to set your air compressor at 60-65lbs, but it DOESN'T tell you that you need to set the air on the machine itself to be 50-55lbs when you are operating the torch! We had our compressor at 65 but when you pull the trigger it dropped in the machine to 35 or so and it wouldn't cut well. Once we adjusted the machine to hold 50-55 it cuts GREAT!
