I own both the 7000 and 8000 and,owned the 7000 for 4 years never had a problem.

Exelent machine

I am very happy with my LTP8000. I had an issue with the LTP5000D and customer service was great and helping me troubleshoot and then did a warranty replacement. I asked if I could upgrade to the LTP8000 by paying the difference which they accepted.

I had a ltp5000d it was pretty good. But it sure would not cut through 3/4 steel like this 8000 does it's great

I am very impressed with this little machine, it cuts through 1” steel with ease. I typically use it on thinner materials but it is nice to know that you can cut thicker steel when needed. I have been using it for about three weeks now and I wish I had bought one much sooner!
